Our very own Complementary Therapist, Agatha Rotherham, is donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust to raise vital funds for The Myton Hospices!

One of our amazing Complementary Therapists, Agatha, has cut her hair to raise money for Myton and donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust, another amazing charity that provides wigs made of real hair to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions.

Having not cut her hair for over seven years, Agatha commented on this momentous challenge:

I’ve donated my hair to The Little Princess Trust before, but this time I decided I could get sponsored and raise money for The Myton Hospices as well!

Working for Myton, I see the amazing work everyone does and how much it benefits our patients and their families. The impact our services have on our community and the difference it can make to those living with a life-limiting condition makes me want to do more.

By cutting my hair and raising money, I’m able to help more people, which is what it’s all about!

With the amazing support from her friends and family, Agatha raised an amazing £300 for Myton, with 36 inches of her hair going to a young person who has been affected by Cancer or another condition resulting in hair loss.

Agatha’s brave chop will enable us to support more people and their families living with a life-limiting illness, now and in the future. Everyone at Myton would like to say a big thank you to our colleague and friend for her inspiring fundraising.
