    We are thrilled to announce that The Myton Hospices have secured two exclusive charity places for the 2026 London Marathon.

    This would-famous 26.2-mile race is not just one of the most prestigious marathons globally - it's an extraordinary event that brings together over 50,000 runners, from elite athletes to first-time participants, all running past some of London's most iconic landmarks, including Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace.

    The marathon is renowned for its unparalleled atmosphere, with thousands of spectators lining the street, cheering on every runner, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

    To apply, please complete our online application form, detailing you motivation for supporting The Myton Hospices and your fundraising strategy. We aim to select runners who can maximise fundraising efforts to support our vital services.

    We’ll be with you every step of the way, offering fundraising tips, advice, and providing you with a bespoke Myton technical running T-shirt or vest.

     

    Applications close on 4th July and successful applicants will be notified by 18th July at the latest.

    Fundraising Commitment...


    Selected supporters are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £100 and commit to raising a minimum of £2,500 (excluding Gift Aid). This commitment ensures we can continue providing essential care to our patients and their families.

    Each year, we care for over 2,000 people, offering services such as inpatient care, Myton at Home, and various patient and carer wellbeing programs.

    Your fundraising efforts enable us to continue offering these essential services free of charge to patients and their families during the most challenging times.

  • If you've secured your own spot in the London Marathon, we'd love for you to join Team Myton. 

    As your own-place runner, there's no minimum fundraising target - simply raise what you can. You'll receive the same support and benefits as our charity place runners.
